GoDaddy hosting got compromised and went undetected for 6 months. This is a breach which GoDaddy is informing to its customer about its hosting breach.
However, the alert that is being sent to its customer is quite vague as its unclear as to what that is and what impact it would have. It is that they have informed that an individual could have obtained login information and have the access to change and upload the files on the website.

As per the information from the California Department of Justice, the breach in security occurred on Oct 19 2019 and got the alert on May 3 2020.
Breach in SSH Access
SSH as knows as (AKA), Secure Shell. It’s a secure protocol that is used to execute commands on a server as well for uploading and changing the files.
An attacker having access to SSH means there’s a breach and the security is compromised.
An individual having access to SSH means is allowed to make changes in the website. Make changes and upload files, which in general this access is available with admin only.
GoDaddy has announced that some of their servers have been compromised by some unknown attackers.
